Stella's custom circuit board fits the shape of the instrument, while compactly holding all components of the board.

Customizability

The board also allows for other controls to be added, such as knobs or sliders. These peripherals can be programmed to serve any function.

Teensy

Stella's microcontroller of choice is the Teensy 3.2, with the audio adaptor attached. At the moment, the circuit board shown above is meant to replace the role of the audio adaptor, though it is currently under construction.

Stella's code will only work with a Teensy, so you must purchase one if you are building your own custom Stella.
